Nothing is achieved without hardwork.

Work Hard. Party Hard.

When in doubt, take action!

Pick a choice and move ahead

Live Rich. Die Poor.

#5 is the most profound one. The credit should go to Richard Reed, CEO and founder of Innocent Drinks. He wants to make LOT of money during his life time so that he can donate MOST of the money by the time he dies. This is what Bill Gates is doing. Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg and many others have joined Bill Gates in his mission.

How our beloved earth looks from 35000 km from sea-level?...

How our beloved earth looks from 35000 km from sea-level? India’s soft power...

The Rise of India’s Soft Power

India’s soft power has now been on display for at least a couple of decades: Indian philosophy has captivated Western minds since the 1960s; Bollywood’s prodigious celluloid fare has long drawn huge audiences in significant parts of Asia, Africa, and beyond; India’s English-language novelists have often edged out native British writers for the prestigious Man Booker Prize; and, of course, yoga studios have become all but ubiquitous in the United States. However, even South Asian scholars and analysts have thought of India’s largesse as a possible source of material power, especially in the realm of foreign assistance.

There’s work, and there’s your life’s work.
The kind of work that has your fingerprints all over it.
The kind of work that you’d never compromise on.
That you’d sacrifice a weekend for.
You can do that work here.
People don’t come here to play it safe.
They come here to swim in the deep end.
They want their work to add up to something.
Something big. Something that couldn’t happen anywhere else.

Krechetnikov and his graduate student Hans Mayer decided to investigate coffee spilling at a fluid dynamics conference last year when they watched overburdened participants trying to carry their drinks to and fro. They quickly realized that the physics wasn’t simple. Aside from the mechanics of human walking, which depends on a person’s age, health, and gender, there is the highly involved science of liquid sloshing, which depends on a complex interplay of accelerations, torques, and forces.

Achieving overnight success: Kevin Systrom

Achieving overnight success: Kevin Systrom:

Frequently startups pop up and take over the press, framed as an “overnight success” taking just a year or two to reach some incredible milestone. For some time I’ve had a slight intuition that perhaps by looking at the founders behind these “overnight successes”, it will become clear that…

Technorati in Silicon Valley have written off Google. But, time and again, folks in Googleplex come up with ideas which completely changes the way people look at the technology. They did with GMail, Chrome, Android and now, with Project Glass -an augmented reality glass.

This idea is nothing new. All of us have seen this in various forms in Star Trek and in many hollywood movies. In fact, I did some research related to this when I was in my undergrad - 12 years ago. But, Google has taken it to the next level. Google has “packaged” this project in a way that the idea reaches mass market all over the world. When I saw that this project was covered on the front page of an unknown newspaper in India, I knew that the millions of people in interiors of India will be thinking about the various uses of this sci-fi glass. They already have cell phones (in many cases, much advanced than my Android cellphone). I am confident that they will buy this in a heart beat!
